We distinguish six phases of the power system transformation:
Phase 1
- System behaviour starts to change.
Phase 2
- Sometimes vRES shares are substantial.
Phase 3
Sometimes vRES cover complete load. We face SNSP restrictions.
Phase 4
- Excess generation during large parts of the year.
Phase X
- No progress without flexibility and cross sector coupling.
